Brother Malaysia lists TZe tape widths of 3.5, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 mm for the PT-P710BT. Its feature page gives a narrower condition for the Share Label QR function: 18 mm and 24 mm tapes only. Use the function-specific condition when planning a QR label, rather than assuming every supported tape width suits that task.

The feature page describes a QR label linking to a product instruction page on a website. This establishes the stated feature and tape condition; it is not a scan test of a finished label.

Choose the page before the tape supply

For an appliance storage box, decide whether the destination should be an official manual, a maintained household inventory or another resource. A temporary seller listing may lose its usefulness after the purchase. The label’s continuing value depends on the information behind the code.

Check whether the intended reader can open the page. A link requiring the owner’s private account may be unsuitable for shared household use. Keep private information behind appropriate access controls; the act of printing a QR code does not provide security for its destination.

Prepare one representative label

1. Give the label a short human-readable name so it remains understandable when a link cannot be opened.
2. Plan the QR function with one of the manufacturer’s stated 18 mm or 24 mm widths.
3. Use the current official software guidance for the actual model.
4. Check a representative finished label with the intended phone and destination before repeating it.

These are proposed checks, not experiments performed by this site. Code size, placement, camera conditions and page permissions still need evaluation in the intended setup. The general tape-width list cannot settle those questions.

Keep the offer and the ongoing record separate

Brother lists USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Its feature page also states that a USB-AC adapter is not included. Check the actual retailer’s package before assuming spare tape or power accessories are supplied.

Retain the label text, link and creation date in a small household record. When contents move to another box, update the linked information or the label. For a simple fixed description, ordinary text may be enough; QR is useful when the destination adds information worth maintaining. No print-speed, scan-reliability or durability result is claimed here.
